ObamaCare’s Future Foretold?

Just rambling here, but I’m guessing if no one bothered to read the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” (also known as “ObamaCare”), then they probably haven’t read this article written by BBC Health Correspondent Nick Triggle and published 12 September 2012:

“Hospitals ‘on brink of collapse’ “

Seems that Britain’s National Health System (NHS), founded in 1948, is having problems coping with a declining number of hospital beds combined with an aging population that’s living longer.

Hmmm…

Aging population? less hospital beds?? busier doctors?!? fewer doctors?!?!? Those things will never happen in America: Despite an aging population of baby-boomers, the Federal Government will certainly allow America’s can-do, entrepreneurial, free-market system to come to the rescue of the medical care industry, just like they did with Medicare, Medicaid, Amtrack, Social Security, the US Postal Service, the home mortgage industry, and the student loan industry.

Right?

Thanks for reading!
