Nancy Pelosi: A Fake Tweet that’s Factually True?

Recently, while perusing the comments posted on a Conservative website, I noticed this image posted by a commenter which claims to capture a 2017 Tweet made by Democrat Nancy Pelosi, Representative for California’s 12th District (San Francisco) and Speaker of the United States House of Representatives:

Nancy Pelosi tweets about taxpayer money

Now, it’s never been verified that Nancy Pelosi ever wrote this exact tweet , and some “Fact Checkers” have labeled this as “False”.

However, using the Liberal Progressive Socialist Democrats’ guidelines for what constitutes “Truth over Facts” – for example: Trump taking away LGBT Rights (false), starting WWIII with North Korea (false), Colluding with Russia (false), his Nepotism (false), Emoluments Clause Violations (false), Quid Pro Quo with the Ukraine (false), etc. – I would rate this tweet as “True, but not Factual” because feelz.

Note, though, that Nancy Pelosi DID say this:

Tax cuts are spending. Tax expenditures, they are called. Subsidies for big oil, subsidies to send jobs overseas, breaks to send jobs overseas, breaks for corporate jets. They are called tax expenditures. Spending money on tax breaks.”
- Senator Nancy Pelosi, March 8th, 2013

Translation: Nancy Peolsi doesn’t support Americans keeping more of their hard-earned money.

Nancy’s statement is “true” because its’ “factual”.

In 2018, when President Trump cut the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction on Federal Taxes from unlimited – meaning the Upper Class could deduct every penny of interest on the mortgage of their multi-million dollar homes, placing more tax burden on the Middle Class – to a $10,000 maximum, Nancy had this to say after it was discovered Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better” Plan would increase the SALT limit to $80,000:

“As a supporter of that particular measure in the bill, that’s not about tax cuts for wealthy people. It’s about services for the American people.”
- Nancy Pelosi, November 18th, 2021

Translation: The Rich get to keep more of their money when they finance their multi-million dollar mansions. And, of course, having the rich keep more of their own money prevents it from going to Big Oil, Overseas Jobs, or Private Jets, but rather to “services”, like hiring people to maintain the wall around your expensive Napa Valley estate, install a $24,000 matched pair of freezers in your kitchen, deliver expensive ice cream ($12 per pint) to fill those freezers, or personally cut your hair at their salon after all businesses were ordered to shut down during the COVID pandemic.

Nancy’s statement is “true” because its’ “factual”.

(Oh, and speaking of Biden’s “Build Back Better” Plan, the plan if passed would have provided $200,000,000 of Federal taxpayer money to San Francisco’s Presidio Park, located in Nancy Pelosi’s Congressional District: A park which by law must be self-sustaining. But, just imagine how many “services” would be needed to maintain and improve the park.)

And when it was proposed Members of Congress and their families should not be allowed to profit from inside information about the effects proposed Federal legislation would have on specific companies or industries, Nancy said this:

“This is a free market, and people — we are a free market economy, they should be able to participate in that.”
- Nancy Pelosi, December 21st, 2021

Translation: Nancy Pelosi – worth $46,000,000 – supports the the Rich having better opportunities to make more money, which they then can keep by investing it in more multi-million dollar mansions serviced by the Middle and Lower Classes.

Nancy’s statement is “true” because its’ “factual”.

Finally, one might think Nancy Pelosi’s allowing rich people like Nancy Pelosi the ability to make more money, keep more of their own money, not subsidizing Big Oil, Overseas Jobs, or Private Jets with their taxes, and spend the money the keep on services for Americans would improve the quality of life for all in San Francisco – a Congressional District Nancy Pelosi has served for 34 years.

A city full of human misery with one of America’s highest rate of homeless people, tent cities and used drug needles dotting streets, people defecating in public, and some of the highest rates of violent crime and property theft in the nation.

San Francisco has been called a “Progressive nightmare“.

It’s almost certainly true Nancy Pelosi never tweeted “I am disgusted with “President” Trump allowing people to keep more of the money they earn. It is this type of wide spread theft of public resources that keeps America from being great “Mr. President”.

But, that wouldn’t stop it from being “factual”. Based on Nancy Pelosi’s own words.
