Let’s see…Rising inflation’s bankrupting the nation, Russia’s invasion won’t stop with persuasion, Biden’s address was an unmitigated mess, and Baseball’s delay has fans in dismay. Sounds like a good time to ramble! |
- Apparently, according to science, Midterm Election Polls completely stop COVID infection and transmission better than masks, social distancing, multiple vaccinations, and Biden’s empty promises.
- Is it just me, or has the acronym “TDS” evolved from “Trump Derangement Syndrome” to “Tucker Derangement Syndrome“?
- Did you know the Strategic Petroleum Reserve of the United States has about 580,000,000 barrels of oil: Enough oil to last less than a month (28 days, actually) at our current rate of consumption?
- The US uses about 20,540,000 barrels per day with 590,000 barrels of oil a day coming from Russia. (BTW: 1 barrel of oil is 50 gallons)
- Democrat Joe Biden has already released 50,000,000 barrels of oil from the Reserve in November 2021, another 30,000,000 barrels on March 1, 2022, and could release more if the Ukrainian war gets worse and gas prices continue to spiral out of control.
- And all this could easily be fixed if Biden restored oil and gas leases on Federal lands and allowed completion of the Keystone XL Pipeline.
- What’s that you say? You can use your cellphone as a Sound Pressure Level (SPL) Meter? And it’s accurate? Apparently, but only if you have an Apple iPhone and are running the CDC’s NIOSH Sound Level Meter app available on Apple’s iTunes Store. But you didn’t hear it from me
- I already knew every Multifunction Machine (it scans, copies, prints, and faxes) made since 2002 keeps an image of every scan, copy, email or fax sent through the machine but I didn’t know the US Postal Service digitally copies the front of every piece of mail that goes through their automatic sorting machines (that would be about 351 million pieces of mail per day).
- I discovered a way to get cheap gas: Just order the Chalupa Cravings Box at your local Taco Bell and wait about an hour or so. Tricky part is getting it into your car’s fuel tank
