Say, remember last 4th of July when Joe Biden claimed his economic plan saved each of us 16 cents versus a similar cookout in 2020 (when Donald J. Trump was President)?
And I showed the “16 cents” Biden claimed to save me actually cost $9.32 MORE.
Must be that “Liberal Math”. Good times….good times indeed!
Well, it’s Fourth of July 2022 and once again I’ve planned my usual Traditional American Cookout for America’s Birthday (which still doesn’t include pork chops).
And guess what? Based on my calculations it will cost another $18.93 MORE to have that 4th of July cookout this year, thanks to Joe Biden’s “economic plan” for America: Click the link below to see more.

Bottom line? The second year of Biden’s “Economic Plan” for America will cost me – and, I suspect YOU – about $18.93 more to celebrate America’s founding this July 4th. And that’s in addition to the $9.32 more you paid in 2021: A grand total of $28.25 more since Joe Biden entered the White House.
So, as you’re looking up high in the sky at all the firework displays check and see if they’re higher than the prices you’re paying to celebrate being an American…thanks to Joe “I did that!” Biden and the Democrats.
Thanks for Reading! (and, Happy Fourth of July!)
(FYI: Food prices are from the Biden* Administration’s US Bureau of Labor Statistics’ “Average Retail Food and Energy Prices, U.S. and Midwest Region”, available here, except for the price of corn, which was courtesy of Macrotrends, and the price of Soda which I found at my local Walmart.)
Postscript: Seems my cookout plan for 4 people may be a bit generous.
“A new American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) survey found the average cost of a cookout is up 17 percent from 2021. Americans will pay about $69.68 for a cookout for 10 people, an increase of about $10 from the year prior.”
