Biden is Correct: Election Deniers DO Exist!

“They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.”
- Joe Biden, Philadelphia’s Independence Hall Speech, Sept. 1st, 2022

And Mr. Biden, as a life-long Democrat, should know election deniers when he sees them:

  • 1860: “Civil War” - The Democrats contested Republican Abraham Lincoln’s victory despite the fact the deeply-divided Democrat Party ran two strong candidates – Sen. Stephen Douglas and Vice President John Breckenridge – which prevented them from getting the majority of the popular vote. Lincoln received the most popular votes (but not a majority) of any candidate, and most of the Free (Non-slave) states cast their Electoral Votes for Lincoln, with Electoral Votes in the Democrat Slave states going to Democrats. The result was Southern Democrats starting a Civil War which cost about 650,000 lives and nearly destroyed the country.

  • 1876: “The Compromise of 1877″ - During the presidential election of 1876, Democratic Samuel Tilden had a lead of 260,000 popular votes over Republican Rutherford B. Hayes but was one vote away from having a majority of votes in the Electoral College. With the Congress having to decide who won, Democrats demanded a compromise: They would recognize Hayes as President if the government would stop forcing the South to guarantee equal rights for people of color. Hayes became President, the South failed to keep their promise, and Democrats afterwards referred to President Hayes as “His Fraudulency“.

  • 1888 “Ballot Harvesting” - Democrats contested the results of the 1888 presidential election, claiming the Republican Party had paid people to engage in “ballot harvesting” in the State of Indiana. While their claim was true Republican Benjamin Harrison would have won the election even if Democrat Grover Cleveland had won Indiana.

  • 2000: “Hanging Chads” - Democrat candidate Al Gore won the popular vote nationwide by over 500,000 votes but lost the State of Florida – and Florida’s Electoral Votes – to Republican George W. Bush, which gave Bush a majority of Electoral Votes and the Presidency. Gore contested the results, and for 5 long weeks paper ballots in four Florida counties were recounted until the US Supreme Court ruled Florida’s vote recount process was unconstitutional, and Bush won the Presidency. To this day some Democrats and Socialists still contend the 2000 Election was “stolen”.

  • 2016: “Russian Interference” - Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton, predicted to have over a 90% chance of winning as late as 9PM on election night 2016, eventually lost as Donald J. Trump received 13,000 more popular votes. Rumor has it Hillary “went into a rage” after losing, has repeatedly denied the election results, and claimed Trump was an “illegitimate President”.

In fact, Democrats, Liberals, Socialists, and Progressives have a history of denying the results of elections they’ve lost, in essence refusing to accept the results of the “democracy” they continually pretend to defend:
