Video: Black Man Defends 30 Rounds in 30 Seconds

In 30 seconds Jerone Davison – a person of color, former professional football player & pastor born in Mississippi and now a resident of Arizona – describes a true story from his childhood.

Transcript:

“Democrats like to say that no one needs an AR-15[1] for self defense[2].
That no one could possibly need all 30 rounds[3].
But when this rifle is the only thing standing between your family
and a dozen angry Democrats in Klan hoods,
you just might need that semi-automatic…
…and all 30 rounds.”

Jerone Davison is currently running for Congress as a Conservative candidate on a platform of “standing for truth, free speech, traditional values, America-first policies, and fair elections”. Visit his website here.

[1] “Self-defense was the most popular reason for owning an AR-15.” [according to 65% of owners]

[2] “…the AR-15…that’s a weapon of war; it’s advertised as being able do technologically advances in killing people that previous weapons have been unable to do and somebody who is buying that kind of a weapon isn’t buying it for target shooting. They’re not buying it to go out and hunt deer. You don’t need an AK-47 or an AR-15 to hunt deer. They’re buying it to do bad things and we need to recognize that and address it.”

[3] “…there’s always a balancing test…the Second Amendment, an individual right to use the weapon, is whether or not that weapon–if it had a magazine with only 10 shells in it as opposed to 30 or more, does that make a difference? …And so the question is, is that necessary for you to protect yourself? …And when you’re talking about the relationship between saving some beautiful 6-year-old’s life, even if it’s only one, versus the ability of someone to have 30 rounds versus 10, how does that affect their right to either hunt or their right to protect themselves?”
Joe Biden, interview with Field & Stream Magazine, 2013

“If you want to protect yourself, get a double-barrel shotgun. You don’t need an AR-15. You don’t need an AR-15. It’s harder to aim; it’s harder to use. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”
  Joe Biden, Feb, 10, 2013
