Propaganda can be very effective when trying to instruct and motivate a population to achieve your goals. Propaganda as art typically caricatures an opponent in a simple, evil manner, exaggerating their features and focusing on a potential danger they pose if not defeated, while written or spoken propaganda casts everything the opponent does in a negative, threatening light. Those working to stop the opponent are portrayed as patriotic, hard-working and heroic, motivated to sacrifice and work until the opponent is defeated.
Propaganda has always been with us and continues today, whether subtly included in Advertising and Marketing, revealed as electronic Censorship by Government and Social Media, or incorporated into memes, text messages, and “News” by the Liberal Press and anyone trying to advance an agenda.
And I thought: What if World War II and Cold War Propaganda posters were reimagined for today’s topics? What would they look like?

Don’t Fall for Liberal Propaganda!

Now that the voting primaries are over the 2024 election campaigns are in full swing…along with, apparently, a plethora of propaganda, mostly from Democrats and their supporters.
Here are some recent examples:
- Joe Biden suddenly deciding to end his re-election campaign?
- It wasn’t because the growing pile of evidence of his cognitive decline became too big to ignore (or, hide), Joe dropped out “in the defense of democracy“, despite some saying he did a “great job!” and others wondering if Biden’s the “most consequential president of our times“.
- The US Secret Service unable to stop a would-be assassin from attempting to eliminate former President Trump?
- It wasn’t because of the Secret Service’s apparent gross incompetence (or, deliberate oversight), why, it was because of “A failure to imagine that we actually do live in a very dangerous world where people do actually want to do harm to our protectees.”
- Kamala Devi Harris, Joe Biden’s ersatz replacement for president, was rated the most liberal senator while serving in the US Senate?
- It wasn’t because she actually was even more liberal than Bernie Sanders, no sirree, it was because the ratings system was “unreliable“.
It’s not as if some of us didn’t expect this election year would be free of propaganda corrections: Back in 2013 Barack Obama signed the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, allowing Americans access to news and information from the US State Department broadcast on government-run news outlets such Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks. News outlets created during the Cold War to broadcast pro-American news and propaganda to foreign countries.
In fact, one might argue ever since Democrat and former president Bill Clinton signed the Communications Decency Act of 1996 in an attempt to regulate Freedom of Speech on the internet America has been on a slow, steady path to government-supported, media-enabled control of information and speech reminiscent of the Ministry of Truth in George Orwell’s book “1984″: It’s an observation I’ll talk about in a future post.
