Map: "Actiontown!"
Screenshots of my second, far more detailed, map for the open-source "Cube 2: Sauerbraten" game environment, involving a fictional United States town called "Actiontown". As midnight approaches on a warm Summer evening under a full moon, you notice Actiontown seems a little too quiet: Time to take a (well-armed) look around and "take care' of any intruders. This map contains a variety of elements, including a four-story state capitol, fast food joint, and a number of underground facilities.

Subway Interior, 1
The late train arrives at it's last stop for the night: Actiontown!
-
Subway Interior, 2
Another view of the subway system, from the overhead walkway.
-
Time for Toot'n Taco!
Frankly, there's no sense killing bad guys on an empty stomach.
-
House of Worship
There better not be any bad guys in here!
-
Parking Garage
Why are all the government cars so plain looking? (Hint: It's the only car model I had)
-
Freedom Plaza
"Freedom" isn't free: In fact, the price of Freedom is vigilance and, perhaps, some relentless, overwhelming firepower.
-
Sewer System
It's not pretty, it's a sewer. And, it's the most boring portion of the sewer in the game.
-
Generator Building
Electrical generator station that powers the subway system.
-
Computer Store
A small portion of the fancy, and pricey, computer store in town.
-
Underground Warehouse
Plenty of stuff stored here... why, it's like a maze of junk!
-
State House, Exterior 1
Side entrance to the State Capitol, with the Governor leaving in his private 'copter. The building's impressive exterior is far more detailed than it needs to be.
-
State House, Legislative Chamber 1
The lower gallery of the Legislative Chamber looks bigger than it actually is.
-
State House, Legislative Chamber 2
The upper gallery of the Legislative Chamber, showing the podium and the Balcony of Power.
-
State House Rotunda
A religious symbol in the State's Capitol? Let the Liberals whine!
-
Water Treatment Plant
It's an underground world that's probably too complicated for the game engine. Just be careful when you play in the sewage.
