2011 Red Sox: Boston Bedazzled by Bruins' Bling
Here's a sight I've waited almost my entire life to see: The Stanley Cup back in Boston. Taking a page from the 2004 Boston Red Sox, the 2010 Boston Bruins battled injuries, their traditional nemesis (the Montreal Canadians), and multiple seven-game series to bring the Cup back to Boston after a 39-year absence. Congratulations! Their achievement also gives Boston bragging rights no other city can claim: In less than ten years, each of their four professional sports teams - the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox - has won a championship trophy!
