Boston Red Sox: The 2007 Championship Season
Daisuke Matsusaka, Boston's new and very expensive starting pitcher, was rumored to possess an unhittable pitch called the "Gyroball": A great excuse to purchase a new digital camera! I never witnessed his signature pitch; in fact, I don't recall anyone reporting he ever threw it during 2007. Ultimately, it didn't matter: Boston winning it all for the second time in three years more than compensated. Enjoy!

A touch of Socialism in the birthplace of US Democracy, it's still an impressive site, and the last of the big neon signs in Kenmore Square. -
