Recently I heard the Biden Administration is shipping pallets of baby formula to border processing facilities at the US-Mexico Border despite a dangerous shortage of baby formula in supermarkets across the United States.
Too unbelievable to check, but I did anyway, and found this:

Interesting fact about the Ursula Processing Center
The Ursula Processing Center, also called the McAllen Processing Center, was where former President Barack Obama constructed wire fence cages to house aliens entering the United States and where the Obama Administration separated children from their families.

And about that contaminated baby formula…
In September of 2021 the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) became aware of a possible link between Cronobacter sakazakii – a rare and potentially deadly bacteria – and Similac PM 60/40 Infant Formula manufactured by Abbott Nutrition Brands, a leading supplier of baby formula in the United States.
During October 2021 a former employee at Abbott Nutrition’s Sturgis, Michigan facility, sent a 34-page document to The Food and Drug Administration alleging improper and unsafe activities at the plant. According to U.S. Representative Rosa DeLaruo (D-CT), who released the whistleblower report on April 28th, Abbott’s improper activities included:
- Signing verifications without adequate knowledge,
- Lax practices associated with clean in place procedures;
- Falsification of records relating to testing of seals,
- Failure to maintain accurate maintenance records,
- Releasing untested infant formula;
- Shipping packages with fill weights lower than what was on the label, and more;
- Lack of traceability of the product;
- Failure to take corrective measures once the company knew their testing procedures were deficient;
- Hiding information during a 2019 FDA audit;
- An atmosphere of retaliation against any employee who raised concerns about company practices.
Rep. DeLauro states after the FDA received the report on October 20, 2021 they did not interview the whistleblower until late December 2021, didn’t inspect the plant in person until January 31, 2022, and didn’t issue a product recall until February 17, 2022: A period of four months, during which there were four reported deaths.
Reports indicate Abbott Nutritional hopes to resume production of the affected baby formulas in two weeks, and at least 8 more weeks for the formula to reach stores in the US.
I find it interesting that a Liberal Democrat Representative of Congress, from one of the most Liberal states in the country, to release a report critical of Democrat President Joe Biden – the most popular President in history – not only shows their well-founded concern for babies and infants but could suggest even some liberal Democrats consider the Biden Administration incompetent.
