I like playing “flowing pipe” games, where the object is to build a continuous pipe from pieces provided by the game to allow water to flow over some distance or to some destination, with the difficulty increasing as you complete each level.
Back on December 21, 2025 I wrote how while playing the game “Pipe Puzzle” I was able to create a continuous pipe which used every single space on the game board, for only the third time in 10 years, and wondered if it might take me less than one year to do it again..
My wonderment didn’t last long: On 22 Feb 2026, only 63 days later, a confluence of the game’s algorithm, my skill, and Lady Luck brought a smile to my face for a fourth time. I guess now I’ll have to set my expectations a bit higher, perhaps my fifth time might only take a month

“Pipe Puzzle” is an excellent re-creation of the classic LucasArts game and was written by Brianna Rainey. The game website itch.io has a copy of this game, click here to play it online. Thanks Brianna!
Note while I play this game a lot, mostly to relax, I’m not trying to intentionally completely fill the board (and, I suspect most of the time the game’s algorithm might not let me). Although, it might be nice to see if there’s a way to consistently fill the board while playing… but, I digress
