Celebrating America’s Independence Day with family, friends, food, fun, and fireworks has been a tradition since the very first one was celebrated on July 4th, 1777.
But this day is extra special as it marks the 250th Anniversary of the greatest political, social, and economic journey ever undertaken by a group of men: Declaring the 13 British Colonies in America to be independent of their overseas ruler, England’s King George III.
A group of ordinary, flawed men whose average age was 44 years old (when the average lifespan was 38), some of whom were to subsequently suffer and die under the British for what they did: Working together and affixing their signatures to a document speaking Truth to Power, in order to achieve what they believed was a nobler goal.

In doing so those men built the foundation for the greatest Protection of Individual Freedoms, Government, Economy, and Country – the United States of America – the World has ever known.
“On this wonderful occasion of the 250th birthday of the United States of America, we celebrate our history, our heroes, our flag, our freedom, our unyielding spirit, and the promise of even more greatness that lies ahead.”
- President Donald J. Trump, “A happy 250th birthday letter to America from President Donald Trump“, 3 July 2026
It’s time to celebrate! America and Americans have earned it!
