The Register Registers a Little Liberal Bias?

What happened:

Sir David Amess: Conservative MP stabbed to death
- By Joseph Lee, BBC News, 15 October 2021
“The investigation into the attack will be led by the Metropolitan Police’s specialist Counter Terrorism Command, who will determine whether it was a terrorist incident.”

How it was headlined on 10/25/21 by Britain’s (usually snarky, always the vulture) computer technology website The Register UK:

Online harms don’t need dangerous legislation, they need a spot of naval action
It worked on Jolly Roger, it can work on ProudWhiteGuy6637″

What’s that on the subtitle…”ProudWhiteGuy6637? Do they mean like this guy?

That’s odd…here’s a few details The Register’s article apparently forgot to mention:

10-19-21:SUSPECT NAMED Sir David Amess murder suspect named as Ali Harbi Ali, 25, as anti-terror police granted six more days to quiz him
(Source: The Sun, Oct. 16, 2021)

10-22-21: “Sir David Amess: Ali Harbi Ali charged with murder of MP”
Mr Ali is a [25 year old] British man [of Somali descent] whose father is a former adviser to Somalia’s prime minister.
(Source: The BBC, Oct 22, 2021)

So, we need “naval action” against “ProudWhiteGuy6637” for something a young Somali male and alleged assassinator did? By what some claim is a “woefully inadequate“, “pathetic” and shrinking Royal Navy?

Why not some naval action against “RadicalSomaliGuy666“? Say, like against these guys? That is, assuming the British Navy can reach Minneapolis MN.

Thanks for Reading!
