Biden’s First Anniversary: Failing Up While Falling Down

“…I didn’t overpromise, but I have probably outperformed what anybody thought would happen.  The fact of the matter is that we’re in a situation where we have made enormous progress….Better than any president has ever gotten in the first year.”
- Joe Biden, White House Press Conference, January 19th, 2022

Hard to believe it’s already been a year since Joe Biden – heralded by the press as “the most popular president ever” – was sworn in as President of the United States.

It’s also hard to believe how a President can accomplish so much failure in so short a time: Let’s review.

With all of Joe Biden’s exceptional failures during only his first year as President, voters should add one more failure to his ever-growing list: Failure to keep control of the US House and Senate.

BLM: “Brandon Labels Matter!”

Totally Woke:

American Airlines is making Black Lives Matter pins for crew members, upsetting some employees
Some crew think they won’t be allowed to wear pins in support of law enforcement.

Totally Broke:

American Airlines Investigates Pilot’s ‘Lets Go Brandon’ Bag Tag
by Joanna Bailey, Simple Flying, Jan 8, 2022

Back in the day American Airlines used the ad slogans “Doing what we do best.” and “Something special in the air.” Seems when it comes to the First Amendment what they’re “doing best” that’s “special in the air” could be Liberal Hypocrisy.

Joke of the Day: A Little Sick Humor

From the CDC’s official web page:

Symptoms of COVID-19
Updated Feb. 22, 2021

Watch for Symptoms

People with COVID-19 have had a wide range of symptoms reported – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14  days after exposure to the virus. Anyone can have mild to severe  symptoms. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

This list does not include all possible symptoms.

So, last night, after overeating at my local Chinese Buffet, including food containing MSG which I’m allergic to, some questionable raw sushi, and a pot of some very hot tea, then catching an Uber to my local sports bar where I consumed 6 vodka gimlets as a group of very loud regulars argued about the “greatest of all time” NFL players, I suddenly felt very ill and ran to my local 24-hour Urgent Care Clinic

…where, after reporting I had all of the above symptoms, they diagnosed me as having eight simultaneous COVID-19 infections. ;-)

Become a Supreme Court Justice…for the Children!

In an emergency hearing on Friday, January 7th, 2022 the United States Supreme Court heard arguments on the Biden Administration’s legal authority to implement an emergency temporary standard unilaterally issued by the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The OSHA standard as written forces every employee to either show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing to show they aren’t infected.

The Supreme Court’s decision to allow or deny enforcement of OSHA’s Mandate will affect every company employing 100 or more people, or approximately 61.1% of all US workers based on 2014 Census Data.

Not true:

It's NOT TRUE!“Omicron is as deadly as Delta … we have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we have never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators.”
- Liberal US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, January 7th, 2022

Also Not true:

It's NOT TRUE!“I mean, you know, 750 million new cases [of COVID-19] yesterday or close to that is, uh, a lot. I don’t mean to be facetious, but that’s, that’s what I said.”
- Liberal US Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, January 7th, 2022

And Also Not true:

It's NOT TRUE!“We all know what the best policy is. By this point, two years later, we know that the best way to prevent spread is to get vaccinated. And to prevent dangerous illness and death, is for people to get vaccinated. That is by far the best. The second best is to wear masks. And so this is a policy that says ‘we are still confronting thousands of people dying every time we look around and so we are going to put into place the policy we know works best, which is to strongly incentivize vaccination and insist that unvaccinated people will wear masks and test.”
- Liberal US Supreme Court Justice Elana Kagan, January 7th, 2022

Absolutely True:

It's a FACT!To date, the Omicron variant of COVID-19 grows 70 times faster in the body and is up to 10 times more contagious than the Delta variant, but is 100 times less fatal. As for children age 0 to 17 years old, the seven-day moving average of hospitalizations due to COVID-19 was 766 on January 4th, 2022.

It's a FACT!On January 6th, 2022 there were approximately 802,610 new reported cases of COVID-19 in the United States, not 750,000,000 as Justice Breyer reported.

It's a FACT!Fully vaccinated people can spread the COVID-19 virus, and as of this posting most of the reported cases of Omicron infection have been among vaccinated people. In addition, at least 30 different scientific studies show face masks are ineffective at stopping the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Virus.

Also Absolutely True:

It's a FACT!“The Constitution does not specify qualifications for Justices such as age, education, profession, or native-born citizenship. A Justice does not have to be a lawyer or a law school graduate…”

Thankfully, Liberal Justices Sotomayor, Kagan, or Breyer aren’t Doctors, and don’t play one on TV. Because unlike being a Supreme Court Justice – the most powerful judge in the United States – there are professional qualifications to be a Doctor or even an Actor.

Know Your “Insurrections”!

On this day a year ago – the day after people protested in and around our Nation’s Capitol – I wrote a post titled “Know Your ‘Revolutions’!”, where I pointed out an apparent distinction between protests organized and run by Left-wing, Liberal groups and those run by Right-wing, Conservatives groups.

Today, a day after the first anniversary of “The People’s Capitol Protest“, in the wake of Democrats and Liberal Media outlets calling the protest an “insurrection”, I thought it might be helpful to write about what an “insurrection” actually is.
