Trump’s 2nd 1st 100 Days: By the Numbers.

Back in 1815, after the disastrous reign of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte of France, Gilbert Joseph Gaspard, the prefect of Paris, welcomed the return of King Louis XVIII and the Bourbon monarchy with the phrase “les Cent Jours” — “The 100 days”.

The phrase, meant to signify a period of sudden, violent change, was first used in America in 1933 to describe Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who said in his Inaugural Speech:

“I shall ask the Congress for the one remaining instrument to meet the [economic] crisis — broad Executive power to wage a war against the [economic] emergency, as great as the power that would be given to me if we were in fact invaded by a foreign foe.”

…and then FDR proceeded to temporarily close America’s banks (a “National Banking Holiday”) and work with the Democrat-controlled Congress to pass 15 bills in 105 days “unlike anything known to American history“, with FDR’s “New Deal” putting America firmly (and in at least four cases, unconstitutionally) on the road to Socialism.

After FDR it’s become tradition for the Press to report and analyze the President’s accomplishments during their First Hundred Days in office, the period of time where traditionally the president enjoys the most freedom to fulfill his campaign promises. For some Presidents, it’s an opportunity to brag about them.

And President Trump’s one who certainly likes to brag. So, let’s review Trump’s first 100 Days in office of his second term as president, by the numbers:
