Repel Democrats Attacks on Trump’s Iran Attack.

(Teddy Roosevelt and his Stick) It’s been three days since President Trump gave the order to launch Operation Epic Fury against the Islamic Republic of Iran (previously known as the Imperial State of Iran prior to the overthrow of Monarch Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi in 1979). Simultaneously, Israel launched Operation Lion’s Roar in a joint military effort.

Unlike Operation Midnight Hammer, which “obliterated” three of Iran’s nuclear facilities, Operation Epic Fury was launched after months of preparations and following years of America’s Foreign Policy on Iran flip-flopping between negotiations and appeasement by Democrats and sanctions and threats of military action by Republicans, with Iran’s government engaged in supporting, funding, and exporting terrorism Worldwide all the while.

And with their usual rapidity in response to anything “Trump” Democrats and their supporters have begun their attack on President Trump’s operation, declaring it “illegal”, mounting protests nationwide, and calling for the Congress to intervene and stop it.

As usual, Democrats have and will employ a number of accusations to attack & undermine Trump’s efforts: Below are just a few, along with how to repel their attacks:

Democrats might claim Trump…		…but consider this:

•	Invaded Iran illegally!	Nope. The US Constitution has been legally interpreted as giving the POTUS broad power to defend the Nation from external threats by using military power in a preemptive or retaliatory manner against those suspected of involvement in terrorist attacks on or imminent threats against the United States, or foreign states suspected of harboring or supporting those engaged in such activities.

•	Defied the United Nations!	Any such claim to date is false, the UN is still discussing Trump & Israel’s military operations. However, the US Ambassador did confront and defy accusations by the Iranian Ambassador that the US and Israel broke International Laws.

•	Violated the War Powers Act!	During Barack Obama’s 8 years reign he conducted airstrikes against 10 countries without obtaining approval by the Congress under the War Powers Act of 1973, resulting in the deaths of over 4,000 people. The constitutionality of Act has never been judged by the Supreme Court: Perhaps now’s the time for them to rule if it violates Article II of the Constitution by illegally limiting the President’s power as “Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States”.

•	Crossed Iran’s borders illegally!	Democrats didn’t seem too concerned about letting millions of illegal aliens into the United States via Joe Biden’s Open Borders policy… in fact, they encouraged, enabled, resettled, and subsidized them. Why are they concerned now?

•	Claimed an imaginary “Immediate Threat” to justify his act!	Democrat and former president Barack Obama invaded Libya in 2011, claiming that their leader created a humanitarian crisis which posed an immediate threat to the World (and thus, by extension, the United States).

•	Is forcing “Regime Change”!	Democrat administrations funded anti-Netanyahu Protests in Israel and terror-Linked NGOs with US Taxpayer dollars; Barack Obama’s assassination of Libya’s dictator Muammar Gaddafi resulted in regime change which destabilized the country, while his support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt – would have changed the government to a Secular one funded and supported by Iran had they succeeded. And Egypt was just one of at least 6 Middle East countries involved in the Arab Spring, where Islamists sought to take advantage of uprisings against authoritarian, pseudo-secular governments, use democracy to gain control, and create new Muslim Caliphates.

•	Is creating another “Endless War”!	Hardly. To date President Trump has negotiated the end of eight (8) military conflicts, his military incursion into Venezuela lasted 2 hours and 28 minutes, and he’s already defined the 3 objectives of Operation Epic Fury. Contrast this with Russia’s war with the Ukraine, which Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden encouraged by their disastrous Foreign Policy: This bloody conflict just entered its’ fifth year, with hundreds of thousands of casualties to date.

•	Is engaged in “Nation Building”!	Both China and Russia are engaged in expanding their territorial influence using social, economic, and military means. President Trump has entered this arena by adopting Dollar Diplomacy which puts America’s best interests first and foremost, focuses investment on profitable economic development & growth rather than providing endless subsidies, promoting “Wokeness“, or advancing Global Socialism, and uses the threat (or, actual) military intervention when a country becomes or continues to be a bad member of the World community.

•	Will raise gas prices by his reckless action!	For years, under Democrat presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, Democrats worked to make fossil fuels unaffordable by legislating against its’ continued production and use and by heavily subsidizing so-called “Green Energy”.

•	Is squandering America’s Toil and Blood and Treasure!	Democrats will no doubt point out (misleadingly) that Military expenditures consume most of America’s Federal budget while conveniently ignoring those pointing out (correctly) that (1) it’s only 14% of the budget, (b) Democrats have squandered trillions of current and future taxpayer dollars on “Green Energy”, DEI, Equity, Illegal Aliens, and more, both at home and abroad, and (3) the interest paid on America’s unbridled deficit spending by Washington DC now exceeds Defense spending. And, while Democrats’ squander is focused on appeasing their voter base (or, at least their chances of keeping and expanding power), Trump is investing America’s toil and treasure to stop Iran from obtaining Nuclear Weapons, exporting terrorism, launching missiles, and having a navy. And perhaps – but NOT as a required goal – imbue all people of other nations (in this case, Iran) with the desire and means to effect and control a Constitutional, representative, secular, and stable government. Just as America’s Founding Fathers did 250 years ago to Britain’s 13 colonies: “I am well aware of the Toil and Blood and Treasure, that it will cost Us to maintain this Declaration [of Independence], and support and defend these States. Yet through all the Gloom I can see the Rays of ravishing Light and Glory. I can see that the End is more than worth all the Means. Iran’s response to Operation Epic Fury was to launch missiles on neighboring countries with the goal of hitting US Military assets and terrorizing civilian populations. In response Arab countries have pledged to enter the conflict to end it faster.

During his first term President Trump warned the Middle East that their true enemy was Iran, not Israel: It seems he may have been correct once again.

The War Powers Act was passed by Congress in 1973 after Republican President Richard M. Nixon ended the Vietnam War. The Act requires the president to give Congress 48 hours notice before deploying troops and Congressional approval to deploy them for more than 60 days. Ironically, it was Democrat President John F. Kennedy who originally sent fighting troops to South Vietnam, Democrat President Lyndon B. Johnson who escalated the war, resulting in over 50,000 US Casualties, and Democrat majorities in both the US House and Senate who passed the War Powers Act in 1973.
