Did a 1947 Comic Book Predict Today’s Democrat Party?

America Under Communism! Click here to read the comic book! It’s 1947, two years after the end of World War II.

Under Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt Americans had suffered through 9 years of the Great Depression and sacrificed during 4 painful years of war. The United States was busy converting their wartime economy to creating goods and jobs for America while competing with the Soviet Union to see whether Democracy or Communism would spread across a war-torn Europe.

It’s also the same year the Catechetical Guild Educational Society of St. Paul, Minnesota, seeing the tactics used by Communists to infiltrate and take over Russia now being used to try and take over Europe, published a comic book describing how Communists could use those same tactics to infiltrate and take over America …but there was nothing “comic” about it.

Did a 1947 comic book predict many of the events, actions, and laws we’re seeing today from America’s Liberal Democrats, their supporters in the Media, Unions, Hollywood, and their liberal voters? It seems the words and phrases used today by Liberal Democrats, Socialists and Progressives (otherwise known as “Communists”) may have changed, but their tactics remain the same.

About my release of the original book:

  • The original 1947 comic book is in the Public Domain: Click here for a PDF version.

  • I’ve adjusted each page of the original for contrast and color balance, and added just a smidgen of sharpness to make the text easier to read. I suspect my version is a bit brighter than the original comic book.

  • Each page includes a caption comparing 1947 to what Progressive Liberal Socialist Democrats are doing today.

  • Copyright is claimed on the derivative work only; each page is watermarked.

Calling all Conservatives! (well, actually, all voters)

Tomorrow will mark 30 days to the 2022 Midterm Elections to be held in-person on November 8th, 2022.

And, of course, the Democrat party has already started to crank up their political machinery by delivering a few “October Surprises”…with undoubtedly more to come. Some may even come from the Republican Party – the party that invented the “October Surprise”.

So, stay tuned…tomorrow I’ll reveal MY “October Surprise”…one which may not be a surprise at all to some of you, but still worth reading!

Thanks for Reading!

Quote of the Day: The Future of the “Liberal World Order”

“What do you say to those families that say, ‘listen, we can’t afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years, this is just not sustainable’?”
- CNN, to Joe Biden Advisor Brian Deese, June 30, 2022

“This is about the future of the Liberal World Order and we have to stand firm.”
- Brian Deese, former Senior Economic Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress, former National Economic Council, and currently Sr. Advisor to Joe Biden

What is the “Liberal International World Order”?

Trump Takes 5th to Avoid Amnesia

“Trump invoked Fifth Amendment more than 440 times in NY AG deposition: Report Misty Severi”

Refusing to answer over 440 questions during a court deposition makes for quite a sensational headline, but in fact the headline should have read:

“Trump invoked Fifth Amendment during NY AG deposition.”

Why? Because after you invoke the 5th Amendment during a legal proceeding you can’t answer any more questions. Answer just one more question, no matter how trivial, and you’re no longer protected by the 5th Amendment: You’ll have to answer every question asked, including any questions you used the 5th Amendment to avoid answering in the first place.

Stated more simply:

The Worst of Times… before the Best of Times?

Recently I read about the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s home in Florida, and it reminded me of what is probably the best opening paragraph ever written in literature:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,
it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,
it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair,
we had everything before us, we had nothing before us,
we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way -
in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”
- Charles Dickens, “Tale of Two Cities”, 1859

The Bad News

Sunday, August 7, 2022: The United States Senate passes the “Inflation Reduction Act”, which will cost taxpayers $750,000,000,000 ($750 Billion) over the next ten years and reduce America’s inflation rate – currently the highest in the last 50 years – by an an amount “indistinguishable from zero”.

Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris cast the deciding vote.

The Really Bad News:

The bill includes $79,000,000,000 ($79.6 Billion) over ten years to fund the hiring of up to 87,000 new Internal Revenue Service agents and fully arm 70,000 of them, bringing the total number of agents enforcing tax collection to 170,000. (The bill also includes $370 billion to impose “Green Energy” on Americans, raises the minimum tax rate on companies to 15%, increases taxes on small and medium businesses, and puts price controls on drug manufacturers by limiting price increases to the inflation rate, along with a long list of other conditions…but, I digress)

The Exceptionally Bad News:

Monday, August 8, 2022: Exactly 90 days before the 2020 Midterm Elections, the FBI conduct a raid on former President Donald J. Trump’s Florida mansion.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents. Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”
- President Donald J. Trump, August 8, 2022

The surprise FBI raid was allegedly conducted to search for documents in violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §2071, involving the concealment, removal, or mutilation of government documents. If found guilty of having just one government document in violation of that law, no matter how insignificant, Trump could be barred from ever holding a political office again, which would prevent him from running for President in 2024.

And, in the face of another attempt by Democrats to destroy Donald Trump’s spirit, resolve, personal wealth, reputation, and political ambitions, former President Trump reminds us that “the best is yet to come.

BTW: Did you know?
