Today, shortly after Noon Eastern Daylight Savings Time, Donald John Trump was officially sworn in as the 47th President of the United States of America. Preceding him was James David “J.D.” Vance taking the Oath as Vice President.
It was probably the greatest comeback in the history of politics (but not in sports, of course: That was the 2004 Boston Red Sox, when they defeated the NY Yankees in the American League Championship Series after being down 3 games to none and one strike away from elimination…twice!. But, wow, did I really digress!
Under constant attack by a Press who was overwhelmingly negative in the coverage, surveilled by the FBI based on a unverified Dossier advanced by Hillary Clinton, pursued by the vicious lawfare of Joe Biden and his weaponized DOJ and CIA, the victim of at least xx lawsuits, impeached twice during his presidency, surviving an assassination attempt on live TV by mere inches, and a second attempt by accidental discovery of the would-be assassin, Trump was re-elected by The People in a convincing victory.
It’s the stuff of legends and blockbuster movies.
Yesterday I provided Memeories to Savor on Biden’s Last Day as president, and now it’s only fitting to celebrate Trump’s inauguration as America’s 47th President with another fine selection of thoughtful Memeories. Hopefully it will be the first celebration of Trump during the next four years.
Congratulations President Trump and Vice President Vance!

This is the third of three events future President Donald J. Trump was photographed while formally meeting President Reagan: The other times were on 08/04/1983 and 02/11/1985.

I asked a free, online, AI Image generating software to produce (based on my description, of course) an image of Trump standing in front of the Statue of Liberty with his right fist raised in the air. Despite re-writing my request MANY times and after many attempts by the AI to produce what I wanted it finally produced something I didn’t know I wanted. Just add a clever caption and “Voila!”, a nice Memeory!
