Quote of the Day?

Looks like China’s on track…to track you:

“Building a global code system [to track individuals] would be much more difficult than [building one at the provincial level], and China, which has successfully established such a system to emerge from the virus, is willing to share its experiences to accelerate the resumption of global personnel and goods exchanges.”
- Chinese public administration expert who requested anonymity, as told to the Global Times.

Note the Global Timesalong with eight other Chinese News outlets* – has been designated by the U.S. Department of State as “substantially owned or effectively controlled” by the Chinese Government. In other words, State-run propaganda outlets.

Sigh.

(FYI, the nine outlets are: The U.S. operations of China Central Television, China News Service, the People’s Daily, the Global Times, Xinhua News Agency, China Global Television Network, China Radio International, China Daily Distribution Corporation, and Hai Tian Development USA.)

The Revised “Elexicon”! (2020)

After reading countless articles on instances of “Voter Irregularities” during the recent 2020 Presidential Election – thanks to the “Publishers Clearing House” method of voting – I thought now might a good time to update the lexicon that takes typical and every-growing examples of “voter irregularities” and conveniently expresses each using a single word.

Presenting my Revised Election Lexicon… Continue reading

Unknown to them at the time, their photo reminded me of one of my biggest regrets: Continue reading

Hey Santa, Please Bring Me THIS!

I’m a simple man with only a few, simple needs: Find the perfect mate, win a big Powerball Jackpot, have the body of Adonis, never pay taxes, and not be selfish, greedy, vain, or miserly.

But, after seeing this I knew I needed it…and, Santa, the sooner you give me this for Christmas the better!

Failing that, Santa, perhaps some winning Powerball tickets? Or, maybe a lifetime tax abatement? I’ll leave extra cookies, milk, and carrots.

Thanks for Reading! (and, Merry Christmas!)

Holidays are a Time for Giving! (2020)

Once again, in the spirit of Christmas (that’s right, readers: “Christmas“, not “Holiday”, or “Winter Celebration”, or “Chrismahanukwanzakah“) I present a short list of gifts that I don’t want to receive under any circumstance I’m considering for my closest relatives and friends. As usual, Holiday readers, there’s no need to thank me if this helps reduce your shopping stress while your electrons wait in line to compete with other electrons in the online stores this year as you remain cooped up in your personal virus-free bubble. Simply Continue reading

Is Your Election Lost? Better Check the Map!

My Dad – God bless him – has this uncanny ability to be “Unlost“: He always seemed to know where he needed to go…and, without people telling him “where to go“.

I may have inherited his ability but, just in case, and in true “old school” style, I always carry a large, folding paper map in my car (for you Gen-X, Gen-Y, and Gen-Z people out there a map is where your eyes do the scrolling instead of your finger).  And, when I get lost I simply refer to the map and “Voila!” I’m unlost.

So, if you’re one of the 74,196,153 voters who believe your Election is “lost” then Continue reading
