Hey NYC, It’s a Melange of Mamdani Memeories!

mamdani muslim thumbs upIt’s been awhile since Memeory Time, and who better to Memeorialize than NYC’s new Progressive, Islamic, Anti-Semitic, neophyte Mayor Zohran Mamdani (and, his wife!). Back on November 4th, 2025 New York City voters elected Democrat, Anti-Semitic, Muslim, and Socialist Zohran Mamdani as the 112th Mayor of the Big Apple.

Not surprisingly, Mamdani quickly called his election a “Mandate”.

A “mandate”? That’s a bold claim when one considers that 78.28% of active registered voters did not support Zohran Mamdani for Mayor.

And, it’s hypocritical when the liberal Media were quick to claim President Trump didn’t received a mandate despite getting a clear majority of both the Popular Vote and the Electoral Vote.

Unlike other websites who compile and publish memes created by other people in order to drive traffic add a touch of humor to their site I create almost all the memes I publish, and clearly indicate memes sourced from others.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER
The memes shown below are presented as Free Speech expressions of parody and satire intended as social and political commentary. Notwithstanding any factual information presented in a caption accompanying any meme, and unless otherwise stated, a meme is not meant to suggest, imply or state that Zohran Mamdani and/or his wife endorse, support, or wish to implement any speech, group, or activity depicted in or suggested by that meme.

Now that the legalese is out of the way, on to the Memeories!

Reject Mamdani Campaign Poster

When you’re campaigning to be the mayor of one of America’s largest and oldest cities it’s helpful for the voters to know exactly where you stand on all issues. Of course Zohran Mamdani – like a lot of politicians – didn’t do this, so here’s an actual poster mentioning what he failed to mention.

Mamdani's Dad Fled from Socialism

This meme, created by someone I don’t know, is a bit misleading: Zohran’s father, Mahmood Mamdani, moved out of India (which adopted Socialism in 1947) with his parents to live in Tanzania (also Socialist) when Mahmood was 2 years old, then they moved to Uganda when Mahmood was 6.

Mahmood became a Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University and is married to Mira Nair, an accomplished Film Director/Writer/Producer of Hollywood and Bollywood films, and have a large, secluded, upper class compound in the wealthy Buziga Hill area outside Uganda’s capital city of Kampala – so they’re no strangers to the luxuries that Capitalism can provide to individuals who earn them.

Mahmood Mamdani’s biography states he “specializes in the study of colonialism, anti-colonialism and decolonisation”, which perhaps included inculcating his son Zohran in the benefits of Socialism.

Mamdani in front of WWII Auschwitz Birkenau train station

Mamdani gave his first post-election speech in the long-abandoned but beautifully preserved City Hall Station of New York City’s vast, tired, dirty, and dangerous subway system. As a member of the Democratic Socialists of America and a Muslim who’s been accused of spewing anti-Semitic tropes one wonders if using another train station may have been more appropriate.

(Note many have claimed Mamdani has taken a middle-of-the-road approach regarding Israel, but it’s yet to be seen if that was just a Trojan Horse simply to get elected. And, most importantly, Mamdani would never engage in the atrocities of the train station depicted in the meme.)

Mamdani in front of ovens

In his Inaugural Address Mayor Mamdani famously stated
“…we will draw this city closer together. We will replace the fragility of rugged Individualism with the warmth of Collectivism.”

And, in his speech he also mentioned the majority of NYC residents… perhaps the same majority who didn’t support his election.

What Mamdani and his fellow Socialist fail to understand or choose to ignore is that Collectivism – the ownership and control of the means of production by the people as a whole, supervised by a central government, for the betterment of all people – has failed every time it’s been tried: A government strong enough to dictate what’s best for The People is also strong enough to do what’s best for government instead.

(Note this is political satire, Zohran Mamdani would never engage in the activity suggested by this meme.)

[meme of Mamdani in front of temple with evil graffiti arriving soon!]

Speaking of Free Speech, would this be an example of the “Free Speech” many Muslims, Anti-Semites, and Socialists might support?

And, once again, let me remind you that this meme is not meant to suggest, imply or state that Mamdani endorses or supports such expressions of speech.

Rama Duwaji Likes Instagram post

I’m a HUGE fan of the US Constitution’s First Amendment, and so I’ve got NO problem with Mamdani’s wife expressing her opinions, even if I don’t agree with them. Also, notice how the post didn’t mention how the decades-long goal and actions of Hamas, and The Palestinian Authority who they effectively control, to destroy Israel (website or read the pdf document) might have contributed to Gaza’s miseries.

Where's Shlomo in Times Square?
(this Meme was created using AI)

Earlier I mentioned Zohran Mamdani was elected Mayor by only 21.72% of active registered NYC voters.

And, that includes over 90% of Muslims who voted for their Muslim brother, which is hardly surprising.

But what is very surprising is that 33% of registered voters under 45 and Jewish voted FOR Mamdani. Let’s hope those young voters soon discover what America’s Founding Father James Madison discovered 250 years ago:

“It is of great importance in a republic, not only to guard the society against the oppression of its rulers; but to guard one part of the society against the injustice of the other part.”

Otherwise, that popular cartoon “Where’s Waldo?” may eventually become “Where’s Shlomo?”.

Mamdani Mets Apple

What better way to get residents of the Big Apple to embrace the “warmth of Collectivism” than to toss in a little Collectivist Propaganda while future collectivists are collected together enjoying The Nation’s Favorite Pastime? And while they’re looking for home runs perhaps they won’t notice all the hot dogs, hamburgers, cheese steaks, taco meat, chicken tenders & wings, and roast beef have all gone Halal… and, there will be no pork anywhere to be found.

Added Bonus!
Back in 2012 I wrote If Liberals Ran Major League Baseball.,
and then in 2021 wrote The MLB’s “Living Wage” Problem? Solved!.
(Let’s hope Zohran doesn’t read them, don’t want him to get any ideas! ;-) )

[Meme of people in front of the Statue of Liberty watching as NYC is destroyed arriving soon!]

In 1811 the French philosopher Joseph de Maistre wrote “Every country has the government it deserves“. And, when it comes to Socialism, Communism, and Dictatorships it’s always nice to have an easily-recognizable mascot to rally and inspire your new subjects. For New York City it only requires a slight modification to their well-known Statue.

Of course the poem at the base of the Statue – renamed “Servant of Islam”, of course – will require an update as well:

The Newer Colossus

Not like Allah’s most worshipped messenger Mohammad,
Conquering infidels from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, open borders shall stand
A subjugated woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the siren of Islam, and her name
Servant of Islam. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide domination; her frightened eyes survey
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Surrender, infidels, your heathen Faiths!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give us your tithe, your conversion,
Your complete submission to our Islamic deity,
You wretched unbelievers from foreign shores.
Bring these, Allah’s future servants, forever to me,
I lift my lamp beside Jahannam’s door!”

Mamdani - NYC's New Error

Of course the sign on the podium is fake, the result of my mediocre skills at using Preview. But, could it be the perfect slogan for Mayor Mamdani’s re-election campaign? Only time will tell.

Thanks for Reading!

(and thanks, Zohran, for making my Memeories easy and memorable!)
