Did you Know?June is named after the Roman Goddess Juno, goddess of marriage and childbirth and Queen of the Gods. | It’s the final full day of June, the month where most Americans spend one day commemorating those who sacrificed their lives to defend Freedom on D-Day, June 6th, 1944, while a very small percentage of Americans who are the beneficiaries of that sacrifice spend the entire month celebrating those who aren’t heterosexual (actually, they spend 307 days of the year celebrating or commemorating). It’s also the month where most Americans celebrated the US Army’s 250th Anniversary of defending America with a parade while a very small percentage of Americans protested America’s Commander-in-Chief, President Donald J. Trump, as being a “King” or “Dictator”, apparently forgetting that his predecessor and Democrat, Joe Biden, was precisely that. Finally, it’s the month where Liberals celebrate Juneteenth – June 19th – as the official end to slavery in the United States despite slavery not actually ending until February 7th, 2013 when Mississippi became the last state to ratify the 13th Amendment (thanks to Republicans, the party who also gave us the 13th Amendment back on December 6th, 1865). |
| What better way to usher out the Month of June – the traditional month of Marriage and Childbirth – with a commemorative Memeory involving none of that? |
