Lunchtime Video: The Climate Change “Circle of Lies”

Head on Desk w/ Thumbs UpAs a fresh-out-of-college new hire at one of America’s major technology firms I quickly realized (and was also reminded by Management) that despite my excellent grades there was still an awful lot to learn about the company’s technology, processes, and products. And so, in addition to my assigned work, I and my fellow rookies were required to attend 4 hours of technical classes while shadowing and being mentored by an experienced member of the group.

Included in that training was a weekly Lunchtime Lecture covering a different company-related topic: It’s in that spirit that I now offer this 38-minute video discussing how Climate Change may have actually been built on a “Circle of Lies“.

Since the IPCC was established in 1988 it’s estimated that upwards of $50,000,000,000,000 (that’s TRILLION, folks) dollars has been spent in an effort to limit the Earth’s average temperature increase by 1.5°C (or, 2.7°F), with current (2022) spending at about $1.3 TRILLION. An estimated 4 TRILLION dollars is projected to be required every year from 2023-2030, growing to 9 TRILLION per year by 2040 and then to 11 TRILLION by 2050 and beyond, for a total actual or projected expenditure of at least 215 TRILLION dollars (and mostly likely MUCH more).

All in an effort to reduce the Earth’s average temperature by an amount which falls within the Margin-of-Error of our ability to measure it.

“What historians will definitely wonder about in future centuries is how deeply flawed logic, obscured by shrewd and unrelenting propaganda, actually enabled a coalition of powerful special interests to convince nearly everyone in the world that carbon dioxide from human industry was a dangerous, planet-destroying toxin. It will be remembered as the greatest mass delusion in the history of the world – that carbon dioxide, the life of plants, was considered for a time to be a deadly poison.”
Richard Lindzen, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, author of over 443 scientific publications on Meteorology & Climate Science

A BIG tip of the Red Sox cap to the Independent Sentinel, for providing this video in their recent report on how the Democrat-run Commonwealth of Massachusetts is considering a bill which would fine residents who have driven “excessive miles” in their cars.
