2020′s “Book of the Year”?

Created by Democratic Socialist Citizen Comrades in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, based on banned-in-the-USA research funded in part by the US National Institutes of Health under former (P)resident Obama’s (B)administration, with a Forward by a powerful but modest leader rumored to resemble the lovable character “Winnie the Pooh“, and rumored to have existed since late November 2019, this book is an informative, emotional, tell-all blockbuster destined to hit the top of Bestseller lists as soon as it’s published!

Hydroxychloroquine: 101 Clinical Trials! (updated)

(Disclaimer: I’m not a medical expert and not involved in medicine.)

Ever since President Trump stated he heard Hydroxychloroquine might be effective in treating COVID-19, and later that he was taking a course of the drug, I’m hearing a lot these days about how Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) did, didn’t, might, or might not work, and how everyone from mediocre movie actors to biased news outlets to supposed “Fact Checking” sites is quick to provide their (nearly always negative) opinion on Trump’s use of the drug or the drug’s effectiveness.

And, I thought, “Wouldn’t it nice if someone in the medical community published a paper that summarized…

(a) what’s known right now,

(b) what testing is being done, and

(c) how effective is HCQ/CQ effective in fighting COVID-19?”

Well, a  quick literature search on Medline/PubMed (a great resource for researching medical papers…but, I digress!) located this paper:

“中国敬酒”,乔·拜登!

(Title: “The ‘Toast of China’, Joe Biden!”)

With all my local Chinese Buffets closed due to the COVID-19 virus (and, probably closed for good in our new “Continual Viral Threat” economy) I miss an opportunity to be seated next to the food Service Station and listen incoherently to Chinese workers chat about (I’m guessing), relationships, their one child, fashion, religion, and the really bad hairpiece on that guy in Booth 14 next to the fish tank.

So, it was entertaining to watch this new ad on Presidential Candidate Joe Biden, which provide just the right amount of Chinese, along with some food for thought:

Frankly, after fully digesting this ad, I’m starting to get a post-meal monosodium glutamate headache.

Source: This ad was produced by the “America First Action Superpac“, located in Beverly MA, who reserve rights to the content, and is provided for educational purposes only. Visit their website at https://www.a1apac.org/ for more Joe Biden ads. Neither President Trump or the Trump Campaign is involved in this ad.

Thanks for Reading (and, watching)!

FYI: Interesting Wealth Redistribution Fact

Have you received your (up to) $1,200 relief check yet from Uncle Sam’s $2,000,000,000,000 COVID-19 Stimulus Bill? I haven’t, but I’m not complaining as I’m still working (and, glad to be, thanks Boss!).

Whether you have, haven’t yet, or don’t qualify, consider this:

The combined wealth of the Top Nine Richest People in the United Statesapproximately $680,500,000,000 – would provide $2,074 to each and every person in the USA – every man, woman, child, legal citizen or not, including each of the top nine richest people.

(and which, by the way, is subject to US Federal Income tax.)

Note I’m not advocating wealth redistribution: I hope everyone who works hard, plays by the rules, and acts honestly and ethically becomes as rich as they want. I’m just pointing out an interesting wealth fact.

“Face Masks DON’T Work, Reports CDC”…WHAT?!?

Sorry for the emphatic, click-bait headline, but that’s the headline I expect news outlets will report in the coming days.

Why? Because the CDC actually investigated “all” the published data on the effectiveness of personal face masks and concluded there’s no evidence that they actually work to stop the spread of pathogens.

Now I’m not a medical expert and not involved in medicine, but here’s a chart, courtesy of the Anesthesia Infomatics and Media Lab at Stanford Medicine, prepared for their medical staff:
