I’ve got a confession to make: I fully support CRT. Yep, it’s true.
Just to be clear up front, I’m not stating this to pander to or gain favor from any particular group. I’ve supported CRT ever since I was a little kid. I was raised around it, exposed to it both at home and in school nearly every single day, and learned valuable lessons from it as a result. In some cases it’s even entertained or saddened me. As a matter of fact, I can honestly state I wouldn’t be the person I am right now – or even as successful – without it.
Even today I still firmly believe in it and refer to it almost every single day. Because it started off as being only about “Black and White”, but now it impacts all colors.

Now that (p)Resident Joe ROBinette Biden* Jr. has “saved” me 16 cents on my July 4th bar-b-que (which actually costs me $9.73 more…but, hey why quibble over details?) I’ve had the chance to experience other “savings” Biden*s economic plan has provided me:
Good thing my paycheck hasn’t increased: It saves me from keeping track of another increasing percentage. /sarc

Well, July 4th has come and gone, and that means Summer is essentially over: Retailers are marking down whatever Summer merchandise they were able to stock and parents are already shopping for back-to-school supplies, reluctant children in tow (if you think I’m being too pessimistic, I knew a co-worker who proclaimed June 21th the official beginning of the End of Summer, as every successive day got shorter).

Designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, built of copper and steel supported by a metal framework designed and built by Gustave Eiffel, it was presented as a gift to the United States by France in 1886 to allegedly celebrate Republican President Abraham Lincoln’s abolition of slavery. Called the “Statue of Liberty” it’s formal name is actually “Liberty Enlightening the World”, and the design was even awarded a US Patent in 1879.
While the statue itself may be static, the fact that its’ outer appearance has remained essentially unchanged for 135 years means it’s iconic and timeless symbolism is seriously due for some “modernization” to reflect America’s “changing values” or risk being “obsolete”. |
Back in 2012 I pondered what might happen if Liberals ran Major League Baseball: And, we’re seeing some of their effects on the sport today. Now, I wonder what Liberals would do to “modernize” France’s gift to the USA, the Statue of Liberty:

The other day I noticed this official and rather tongue-in-cheek tweet from the Joe Biden* White House:
Now, I don’t know about you, but I don’t ever recall having pork chops at a traditional Fourth of July American Cookout. But no matter, Biden*s economic plan has saved each of us 16 cents versus a similar cookout in 2020 (when Donald J. Trump was President).
