On December 7th, 2021 – Pearl Harbor Day – while shopping on Amazon.com I wanted to browse through products related to former President Trump. So, I searched “Donald Trump”…

Curious, I searched just the name of a famous president or presidential wanna-be and discovered this:

In simple terms, when wages grow faster than inflation you’ve got more money to save, spend, and invest for the future, and when inflation grows faster than wages you not only have to pay more for the same goods and services but you’re pressured to spend your savings now on items you planned to buy later because prices will only go up over time (which also adds to inflation in the short term by creating even more demand).
Keep that in mind while looking at this chart:

“Many decision makers assume that the vaccinated can be excluded as a source of transmission. It appears to be grossly negligent to ignore the vaccinated population as a possible and relevant source of transmission when deciding about public health control measures.“
- “The epidemiological relevance of the COVID-19-vaccinated population is increasing“, Günter Kampf, University Medicine Greifswald, Institute for Hygiene and Environmental Medicine, Greifswald, Germany, as published in The Lancet, Volume 11, 100272, December 01, 2021
Günter Kampf points out in his letter that while it was expected the transmission rate of COVID-19 would decrease as more people were vaccinated the actual science indicates the rate of COVID-19 transmission is essentially the same whether a group of people are fully vaccinated or not. Read his very short letter for the full details.

Back on March 6th, 2021 Charles M. Blow of the NY Times opined on how the Warner Brothers Looney Tunes character, bon vivant, and hopeless romantic Pepe Le Pew signified a “rape culture”.
(Yes, I know it was a while ago, Pepe Le Pew was removed from the remake of the 1990′s movie “Space Jam”, but I’m a big Warner Brothers cartoon fan and didn’t want this post to remain in my Drafts folder, so here it is…but, I digress) |
On Twitter Charles wrote:

RW [Right Wing] blogs are mad bc [because] I said Pepe Le Pew added to rape culture. Let’s see.
1. He grabs/kisses a girl/stranger, repeatedly, w/o consent and against her will.
2. She struggles mightily to get away from him, but he won’t release her
3. He locks a door to prevent her from escaping.
Well, Mr. Blow when it comes to Warner Bros. Looney Tunes, this is what the “woke” Liberals seem to have either overlooked or conveniently forgotten:
