So Wrong! Antifa Leads to Biden’s White House?

Did you know?

At least for the moment, if you click on Antifa.com you will be redirected to Whitehouse.gov

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Whether that fringe, radical left-wing, anarchist group who essentially protested in America’s major cities literally unfettered during the Summer of 2020, and was conspicuously present at many rallies held for President Trump and in defense of our Personal Freedoms actually has a real website is not known.

FYI: That website name has been registered since at least 2002:

President Joe Biden’s New Trappings of State!

Former Senator and Vice President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., has been duly sworn in as America’s newest President of the United States, in front of a crowd outnumbered by security forces 13-to-1 (to represent America’s 13 original states, perhaps? Or, maybe the approximate ratio of British troops to Colonists at the Battle of Lexington, where the British Army tried to seize the Colonists guns? Probably not, but I digress).

As is tradition, a new President enjoys the trappings of State which come with the Office, and is entitled to all due respect and deference, just like President Trump. So, let’s quickly review the “Trappings of State” for America’s latest President!

Your Video Lesson Plan for Today: Parades.

On January 20th, 2021 America inaugurated a new President of the United States.

Unfortunately, with the Country still caught in the grips of a virus that has left 99.91% of Americans still alive, and one protest at the Nation’s Capitol which paled in comparison to a Summer of Democrat protests in 140 cities in 20 states for three months that resulted in trillions of dollars in damages, the Government decided that Inauguration Day Parades – traditionally, a small one for the outgoing President and a much larger one for the new President – would not be performed.

And so, I present to you your Video Lesson for Today: Parades!

Here’s Where I Wail about Walls.

“Before I built a wall I’d ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offense.”
– Robert Frost, “Mending Wall“, published 1914

Apparently, security preparations for the inauguration of former Democrat Senator and Vice (p)Resident Joe Robinette Biden as our Nation’s 46th President include a wall being built around Washington D.C.’s Capitol Building and the billeting of up to perhaps 28,000 troops. (BTW, that’s more troops in Washington D.C. since the Civil War’s Battle of Fort Stevens on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. in 1864…but, I digress)

Part of me believes these are simply prudent security measures, but most of me thinks it’s convenient symbolism directed to a purpose. After all, while the business of the American People is business, the business of politicians is politics.

Know Your “Impeachments”!

On January 13th, 2021 – with less than 7 days left in his Presidency – President Donald J. Trump was impeached by the Democrat-controlled U. S. House of Representatives on the sole Article of “INCITEMENT OF INSURRECTION” based on a single speech he delivered to the Nation on January 6th, 2021.

A really short, and hardly legal or complete, explanation of “Impeachment”:

Impeach: im·peach /imˈpēCH/ – verb

1. to charge with misconduct (in the USA, to charge a holder of public office)
2. to call into question the integrity or validity of.

Unlike an offense tried in a Court of Law, where charges must be brought with sufficient evidence, the accused is presumed innocent and enjoy the benefit of legal counsel, witnesses swear to tell the Truth under penalty of perjury, evidence is presented to a jury of fair-minded and impartial peers, facts can be challenged, and appeal to a higher court is available if judged guilty, an impeachment only requires:

  1. half or more of the Representatives in the US House to vote for the charges they’ve written, and
  2. 2/3rds of the Senators in the US Senate to vote to convict the person accused of the charges.

Think of an “Impeachment” as a “Complaint”, like a teacher sending you home with a note to your parent(s), or your boss filing a letter with the company’s Human Resources department, saying they didn’t like something you did or said.

That said, Let’s review History: Continue reading
