It’s the Perfect Wrist Watch for 2024… and Beyond!

I had a little free time the other day, and decided to develop my idea for what could be the perfect timepiece for the 2024 Presidential Election Year… and beyond!

It's the Trump MAGA Perpetual Gold Watch!
(Note: My ad is based on an ad published by Rolex
for their Oyster Perpetual Day-Date Watch)

It’s the perfect watch for the discriminating, accomplished, intelligent, and successful man, which I believe means Joe Biden won’t be adding it to his personal collection anytime soon.

Vintage Propaganda for Today’s Truths (No. 13)

If you want go directly to the Propaganda Posters Click here

Propaganda can be very effective when trying to instruct and motivate a population to achieve your goals. Propaganda as art typically caricatures an opponent in a simple, evil manner, exaggerating their features and focusing on a potential danger they pose if not defeated, while written or spoken propaganda casts everything the opponent does in a negative, threatening light. Those working to stop the opponent are portrayed as patriotic, hard-working and heroic, motivated to sacrifice and work until the opponent is defeated.

Propaganda has always been with us and continues today, whether subtly included in Advertising and Marketing, revealed as electronic Censorship by Government and Social Media, or incorporated into memes, text messages, and “News” by the Liberal Press and anyone trying to advance an agenda.
And I thought: What if World War II and Cold War Propaganda posters were reimagined for today’s topics? What would they look like?

Seriously, it’s Taco Tuesday Memeory Time!

Don't Be So Serious!I suspect finding that perfect balance between “Too serious” and “Totally apathetic” is challenging for most people. In fact it may not be a “balance” after all, but rather a slow journey through life from Innocence to Dependence to Trusting to Learning to Caution to Experience to Seriousness to Suspicion to Realization to Self-Preservation to Sarcasm to Cynicism to Apathy to Acceptance to Inner Peace (or to Resignation, depending on the ending you prefer).
All’s I know is before you ponder over which step your life’s journey is at right now remember that image at the upper left. …then enjoy these Midweek Memeories ;-)

Unlike other websites who compile and publish memes created by other people in order to drive traffic add a touch of humor to their site I create almost all the memes I publish and only occasionally publish a meme from someone else. Note: Copyright is claimed on all content I’ve created and not otherwise covered by any third party. You can copy and republish any image but you can’t sell it, can’t modify my website link or logo on the image, and must include attribution.

What's nosier than whining Liberals? Cicadas!

What’s worse than a cat in heat calling any mate, a kid screaming for candy, or millions of whining Liberals? BILLIONS of cicadas emerging from their years-long underground hibernation and broadcasting their mating calls in unison in desperate attempts at romance shortly before their deaths. This year should be particularly annoying as both the 13-year and 17-year cicadas will emerge together, with some groups making enough noise to prompt calls to local police. Still, I suspect the cicada cacophony will be much less annoying and more productive than that of whining Liberals. And if not you can always call the police ;-)

Joe Biden created coding coal miners!

How much of a delicious irony would it be if all those coal miners Joe Biden told to take up computer programming actually did, and created an Artificial Intelligence program capable of eliminating Hollywood actors? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

16 Ways to Make you POOR
(I didn’t create this meme, so thanks to whoever did)

I was taught (1) the best dollar you can make is the one you make in the next minute, (b) to make do or do without, (3) to buy the best, buy it once, take care of it, and it will last forever, and (d) never spend beyond your means. However, if you seriously want to go broke this meme here are 16 tried-and-true ways to do so.

Underworked and Overpaid? You’re a BIDEN Supporter!

Surprised? Well don’t blame me, I didn’t make this stuff up: It’s the result of a poll conducted by the non-partisan, well-trusted, highly respected and perhaps only slightly Liberally biased Emerson College, from their “April 2024 National Poll” published April 18, 2024. (click an image to enlarge it in the same window)

Biden Supporters Work LESS…

Biden Supporters work LESS?!?

…while making MORE MONEY?

For some people (I guessing mostly Trump supporters) this result may be completely obvious, like water being wet, the sun hot, and that man didn’t hang himself. Still, it’s nice to see someone actually measured it and removed (nearly) all doubt.

One might think this would make for a sensational, attention-grabbing headline, but not Emerson College: Their big conclusion was that 75% of those polled said the cost of living is rising under Joe Biden.

And at least one person reached a conclusion completely unsupported by the poll data:

“This says to me that liars have a strong preference for Trump.”
- Matthew Yglesias @mattyglesias on X (formerly Twitter), 8:10 PM · Apr 20, 2024

Maybe Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) was right when he said: “Figures don’t lie, but liars figure.” The tricky part is figuring out who’s lying and with what figures.

Thanks for Reading!

Recently pro football player, Hollywood actor, and infamous double-homicide suspect Orenthal James “O. J.” Simpson passed away from cancer at 76. The liberally biased Los Angeles Times published his obituary, which included an interesting error:
